Weight loss does nothing to help GERD or similar stomach problems.
Nada
Nothing
I still have GERD and I still have flare ups despite fastidiously watching every fork full I put into my mouth.
GERD with weight? Honestly, I felt healthier when I had extra weight. I bounced back from the attacks quicker than I do now. At my supposedly healthier weight, I feel weaker and sick longer after an attack.
Truth.
Will weight loss help some people? Perhaps. But don't count on it.
And if you think you are going to regain the weight you lost, again...don't count on it.
If you are prone to ED, GERD weight loss is a very large trigger you need to conquer. It could set off bad eating habits. Because this sickness causes rapid weight loss, it shocks the body very badly. Not giving your ailing body the nutrients it needs is extremely dangerous.
Don't kick yourself while your down and begin a crazy diet. Don't do it.Labels: food, health, personal
